Legal & privacy

Clear terms for a simple request.

WellsFinder helps Canadian property owners send one water-well project request to independent contractors. These documents explain the platform’s role, your choices, and how Tipmunk SASU handles information.

Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026. Tipmunk SASU operates WellsFinder by Spotvira and acts as the data controller for the lead-request service.

Information we collect

We collect the project and contact information you submit, including service type, Canadian postal code, timing, property type, project details, name, telephone number, and email address. We may also receive the page URL, referring page, advertising parameters such as UTM values or a Google click identifier, and ordinary technical information needed to secure and operate the service.

How we use it

Sharing

We may share relevant request details with independent contractors, email and cloud-hosting providers, analytics or advertising providers when permitted by your cookie choice, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention and safeguards

Lead requests are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, protect the platform, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on whether a request remains active, whether a contractor relationship or dispute follows, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. We use access controls, encrypted transport, limited internal access, and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the information handled.

International processing

Tipmunk SASU is established in France, the site is hosted using Google Cloud, and contractors or service providers may be located in Canada, the United States, France, or other jurisdictions. Information may therefore be processed outside your province or country and be subject to local law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, a provincial privacy regulator, or the French CNIL where applicable. Email support@cruxi.ai to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Terms of Use

By using WellsFinder or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. WellsFinder is a request-routing and introduction service. It is not a water-well contractor and does not itself drill, repair, inspect, deepen, test, or decommission wells.

Your request

You agree to provide accurate information, submit only genuine projects that you are authorized to discuss, and use the service lawfully. Submitting is free and does not require you to hire a contractor.

Contractor contact

You ask WellsFinder to share your request with potentially relevant independent contractors and authorize those contractors and WellsFinder support to contact you by phone, text, or email about that request. This permission is limited to the project and related service communications.

No guarantee

Contractor coverage varies. We do not guarantee that a contractor will respond, that a particular price or schedule will be available, or that a contractor will be suitable for your project. You are responsible for evaluating estimates, references, licensing, insurance, qualifications, contracts, permits, and the proposed scope of work.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tipmunk SASU is not responsible for independent contractors’ acts, omissions, estimates, advice, delays, property damage, services, or disputes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tipmunk SASU in France, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available where they reside. We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.

Cookie Policy

WellsFinder uses essential browser storage to remember your cookie choice and maintain basic security. With your permission, the site also loads Google Ads measurement under identifier AW-17741717873 to understand whether an advertising visit results in a submitted request.

Your choice

Optional advertising storage is denied by default. Selecting “Accept” grants advertising and analytics storage; selecting “Decline” keeps it denied. You can reopen the choice panel using “Cookie settings” in the landing-page footer. Browser controls can also remove stored choices and cookies.

Google processing

When optional measurement is permitted, Google may process device, browser, page, referral, and advertising interaction information under its own terms and policies. WellsFinder does not use optional advertising cookies until a choice is recorded.

Contractor Disclaimer

All contractors are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, franchisees, or representatives of WellsFinder, Spotvira, or Tipmunk SASU. Contractors set their own prices, availability, terms, warranties, and methods of work.

Licensing, permit, insurance, bonding, and technical requirements vary by province, municipality, project, and well type. Before hiring anyone, ask for current credentials, written scope and pricing, references, insurance evidence, permit responsibilities, and any required provincial well-contractor or technician registration. WellsFinder does not replace professional, engineering, geological, environmental, or legal advice.
